Giant monitor lizard at large

By admin | Jun 1, 2009

I hope everyone still remember the post I wrote about a huge lizard got stucked at my bro K sister-in-law’s home. It was stuck at the gate, as they have a got a water fountain at the garden with fishes. The huge lizard must have gone in to eat the fishes. It is stucked at the gate on its way out. My bro has to pull the huge lizard tail to let it loose. This happened in May last year!

There are two pictures you can see, the pictures are taken by my bro K using his cell phone. One is the lizard tummy, you can see its big!

I remember them even jokingly saying that the lizard will be delicious to cook with curry. I think the lizard looks like a komodo! How about you?

    Hi TH!

That is one huge lizard! I know there are people who eat them. There’s no way I even want to eat this animal. Poor lizard got stuck at the gate ya. Lucky it didn’t bite anyone, just the fishes :)

@spiff, I will be too. If its in the night, people might mistake it as a dog.

    Eating lizards? Eeks….

Btw, there’s an article on Komodo dragons in today’s Star papers. They are dangerous creatures.

Poor lizard? I say poor fishes. I remember my dad saying to us one time (in Cantonese) “People eat everything with a shadow.” lol!

Well, I wouldn’t eat a lizard knowingly, but I’m sure if I get used to the idea, and if it is camouflaged in the dish, I’d eat it! :)

@Jessica, the lizard escape this time but I think if the guards at the area seen it. They will…
