We have our mini holiday in Kuching, Sarawak. I booked the hotel online and there is no deposit required. We were staying at the Kuching Park Hotel, a night cost RM168 inclusive of breakfast. I added extra bed for hubby as Queen size bed is not big enough for all of us. The room I booked have got two Queen size beds, Sean sleeps with me while sister-in-law Jen sleeping on another. The cost of extra bed is RM38 inclusive of breakfast. Basically we only need four breakfasts!
I checked on other hotel like the Air Asia hotel, it cost $145 a night and only having a Queen size bed in room. I am not sure if it is inclusive of breakfast, the receptionist told me that their room rate everyday is different.
From Kuching Park Hotel, the taxi will have to pass three cat monuments. We miss out visit the museum as we have no idea where is the location. The first place we visited was Sarawak Plaze it is a small shopping mall. We have our lunch at Hartz Chicken Buffet, adult is RM17.70 and children is RM8.00. We only have out day out on Sunday as we reached Kuching in the evening and it was late. We have out meal at the Orchid Coffee house in the hotel. I love their lamb shank RM38 only and it is huge!
